The End of Year tool will allow you to keep your database at a neat and trim size by removing past year payroll transactions and permanently deleting terminated employees. Make sure that you have made a backup of your Company Database before running the tool in case you ever need to access that data again in the future.
A number of our users copy and past the company databases and then rename them to have past years available at the click of the mouse. An Example is if your company database name is "Sample Software Company.dxi", they will have "Sample Software Company 2008.dxi", "Sample Software Company 2010.dxi" and "Sample Software Company 2011.dxi"
Copying and renaming files is something every Windows user should know how to do. For those that never learned how to use their computer, we have a short set of instructions found
