Auto-Update Checker

The Auto-Update Checker is turned on by default. It can be disabled and enabled by clicking Tools from the main menu and then selecting Options:
 
 
Checking the option will Enable the automatic check for updates when PayWindow starts. Un-checking the option will disable the feature.
 
 
When PayWindow starts the first time on a given date, the Auto-Update checker will check to see if there are any updates, it will display like this if it finds an update:
 
 
Just like the regular manual update checker, the buttons are enabled if the program or tax tables need updating. If there are no updates, this Window will not be displayed.
 
If your computer is not on-line the update data area of the screen will be empty when checking and if nothing found like seen below, you can close it. This screen should also automatically close if you should walk away when starting PayWindow after about 30 seconds after detecting there is no Internet connection.
